Driver arrested after falling asleep on road, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A driver was arrested Tuesday morning after falling asleep in the middle of the road, the California Highway Patrol announced.

CHP says following an early Halloween party a driver was found in Fresno stopped, parked and asleep in the middle of the road.

Officers report it is believed the driver had several too many drinks.

As a result, photos reveal an officer conducting a DUI evaluation on a man wearing a costume gun holster and handcuffs.

CHP arrested the man and advise drivers to plan ahead for a safe ride home before drinking.
