Arson suspected after fire at vacant warehouse in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Arson was determined to be the cause of a structure fire at a vacant warehouse in Fresno on Tuesday night, according to the Fresno Fire Department.

Fresno Fire says just after 8 p.m. firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire at a vacant warehouse on the 1800 block of H Street.

According to crews, they reported smoke and flames coming from the building and initiated a fire attack.

The damage of the fire was minimized after crews said it was quickly extinguished. There was a total of 37 firefighters that responded to the structure fire.

Fire investigators say they determined the cause to be arson.
