A suspect believed to be responsible for the November 2023 killing of Adriana Gonzales in Fresno was arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Fresno Police Chief Mindy Casto on Monday said Devin Miliki Senegal, 23, was arrested Friday after officers investigated a suspicious vehicle.
Police said Senegal provided officers with a false name while he was under the influence. Officers in Las Vegas arrested Senegal on suspicion of DUI and learned he had a warrant for his arrest.
Fresno police are also looking for Sabrina Acosto-Ramirez, 29, and Aaminah Norman, 26.
Police said Norman is responsible for the murder and Acosto-Ramirez is aided and abetted after the fact.
Gonzales was killed just after 11:30 a.m. Nov. 25 in the 50 block of East California Avenue.
Gonzales had multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body and the vehicle ran her over. She was taken to a local hospital where she died, police said.
“After the incident happened, we gained information that they had fled,” Lt. Paul Cervantes said. “We’ve been working hand in glove with our marshals. This has been an ongoing saga for us. It’s only by sheer luck that (Senegal) happened to be on the other side of the road intoxicated.”
