FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A suspect was arrested after an October fistfight turned into a shooting in south Fresno.
According to the Fresno Police Department, officers responded to the Shell Gas Station at 2588 South Maple Avenue for a victim of a shooting around 1 a.m.

When officers arrived they found the victim who had been shot several times.
The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
Detectives with the Fresno Police Department were able to determine that three males were involved in a verbal disturbance with the victim and his girlfriend, as they exited the store.
The disturbance escalated into a fistfight and one of the males pulled out a firearm and shot the victim multiple times.
Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Christopher Norris and arrested him on Monday, November 4, 2024.
Norris was booked at Fresno County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon (Firearm), shooting at a dwelling, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
