2 arrested after baby involved in Fresno shooting, police say

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Two men have been arrested following a shooting that threatened the life of a seven-month-old child, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Officers say the two suspects, 18-year-old Demarea Gossett and 22-year-old Miguel Angel Perez, were arrested following what was described by police as a “violent shooting” that took place on Oct. 24 in southwest Fresno. Police say the shooting involved three victims, one of which was a seven-month-old child.

Both suspects were identified by police as gang members and were arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide and other gang-related offenses.
