MADERA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Got any old tires hanging around the garage? Officials with the City of Madera will be holding a Waste Tire Amnesty Day to help Madera County residents get rid of their old tires.
The Waste Tire Amnesty Day will be hosted on Nov. 16. Up to nine tires per household will be accepted for the program. City officials say the program will be available for Madera County residents only.
Officials add only residential tires are accepted. Commercial, tire dealers or other public agency tires are not permitted.
Officials say residents must have a reservation to participate in the program. For more information and reservations, call Code Enforcement at 559-661-5114.
