FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The hospitalization of a motorcyclist after a crash in Fresno on Wednesday evening led to a disturbance, the Fresno Police Department said.
Officers say at about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, a 26-year-old was allegedly driving under the influence down Fresno Street at California Avenue in Fresno.
Police say the 26-year-old turned in front of a motorcycle, which was allegedly traveling at excessive speeds, and collided with the vehicle. As a result, the motorcyclist was injured and was hospitalized; he is listed in stable condition.
Following the crash, officers reported several people associated with the motorcyclist arrived on the scene and a disturbance occurred. Officers were able to gain control of the situation and investigated the traffic collision.
