KINGS COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Three suspects were arrested after an agricultural shop was burglarized outside Laton, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies say they responded to the area of Cairo and 9th avenues on Tuesday for a report of a burglary in progress. Once on scene, they discovered a trailer, motorcycle, and several other items had been taken from the property.
Surveillance video showed a vehicle left the area towing the alleged stolen trailer. Upon further investigation, deputies say the vehicle was identified and later located at a residence in the 16000 block of S. Fowler Avenue in Selma.
Deputies say they conducted a traffic stop after the vehicle was seen leaving the residence. A search was also conducted at the residence, and the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.
The sheriff’s office says three subjects were arrested on suspicion of various charges including burglary, vandalism, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, vehicle theft, conspiracy, and warrants.
