Three observations from KU’s 86-51 win over Furman

A closer look at Saturday’s game. Kansas handled Furman, 86-51, on Saturday evening. The Paladins were tough on the Jayhawks in the first half, even tying the game at one point late in the frame. But KU steadily widened the gap and ended up pushing its lead to more than 30 points. While reaching a high figure in points, KU did not shoot the ball well from deep on a low rate of attempts. Furman was in a similar boat in terms of make rate but shot the ball much more than KU.
