MADERA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Three people were arrested Wednesday after a man was caught breaking into a Madera home by a passing patrol unit, the Madera Police Department said.
According to officers, their Special Instigations Unit was driving in the area of Wessmith Way and Lake Street early Wednesday morning when they saw a man climb through a broken fence and into a home.
Shortly after, officers say three people walked out of the house with bags full of items.
Detectives say they detained the subjects and recovered all the stolen property. All three subjects were arrested and booked in connection with burglary charges.
