FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/ K GPE ) – Trash collection in the City of Fresno will be on pause Wednesday to give workers time off to celebrate Christmas, the city says.
According to city officials, areas that are scheduled for trash and recycling pick-up on Wednesday will have their services resumed on Thursday. Thursday’s collection will subsequently be moved to Friday, and Friday’s collection moved to Saturday.
The city says garbage collection will also be paused for the same residents on New Years Day, but services will resume the following day. Collection will also be a day later than usual for residents on Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
