FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Nearly $10 million has been approved for the construction of a new park in Fresno that Councilmember Annalisa Perea says will bring tribute to “a civil rights icon who has dedicated her life to justice and empowerment.”
A contract of $9,950,023.15 was approved for the construction of the new 4.5-acre Dolores Huerta Park at 4550 W. Dakota Ave., in northwest Fresno during Thursday’s city council meeting.
