Convertible goes underneath sedan in crash near Fresno’s airport

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A convertible ended up underneath a sedan following a crash near Fresno’s airport on Friday.

According to the Clovis Police Department, the crash took place around 2:45 p.m. in the area of Clovis Avenue and McKinley Avenue.

Officers say the driver of the white convertible was going around 25 miles an hour southbound on Clovis Avenue when the driver went to brake – and instead pressed on the gas pedal. The resulting crash left the convertible underneath the gray sedan.

The crash also sent the gray sedan into the vehicle in front.

The driver of the white convertible received minor injuries in the crash. No other injuries were reported…
