Fresno concert issuing refunds after Mexican band’s visas revoked

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A popular regional Mexican band, that was supposed to perform at a festival in Fresno at the end of April, has had their visas revoked by the U.S. State Department after they allegedly glorified a “drug kingpin.”

According to the Associated Press, the visa revocations come after the band projected the face of a drug cartel boss onto a large screen during a concert in Mexico over the weekend.
