DA: Pixley suspect gets another charge in deadly Madera shooting

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – An additional charge has been added for the man accused of shooting up a Walgreens in Madera and killing store employee Erick Velazquez, the Madera County District Attorney announced Tuesday.

The deadly shooting took place on March 31, where police reported that 30-year-old Narciso Gallardo Fernandez walked into a Walgreens in Madera and began shooting at employees. As a result, Erick Velazquez was killed, a second employee was injured and a third was missed.
