FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The 24-year-old man who died after he was found shot multiple times in the backyard of a central Fresno home was named by the Fresno Police Department.
The death of 24-year-old Taylor Washington is Fresno’s fifth homicide of the year.
According to Lieutenant Paul Cervantez, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and found Taylor Washington injured in a backyard. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died about an hour later.
Investigators say Washington had been walking on foot in the area of South Bardell Avenue. Police say he did not have any known connection to the residence where he was found and no one called 911 at the time of the shooting. A 911 call was made when the victim arrived in the backyard of the home…
