Fresno’s Tower Porchfest is coming: no tickets needed

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A front porch might not be the first place you’d expect to catch live music, but at Tower Porchfest in Fresno’s Tower District, that’s exactly the point.

Jeremy Hofer and Nicole Castech say the event is all about creating community through creativity and bringing neighbors together, one front yard at a time.

How to plan your Tower Porchfest day with 367 performers to choose from

Hofer says Porchfest features local musicians, performers, and artists who come out and showcase their talents. They say the event has continued to grow every year, with more neighbors volunteering their homes as stages and more artists eager to perform.

This year, organizers say nearly 90 porches and over 350 performers, including solo acoustic acts to full bands, poets, and dancers, will offer a little bit of something for everyone.
