Minors lead CHP on cross-county chase through the Central Valley

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Three minors were arrested after leading the California Highway Patrol on a cross-county chase.

CHP Fresno initiated the pursuit after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle. Inside, they say there were three minors.

During the pursuit, officers say one of the suspects threw a weapon out of the vehicle’s window. It was later recovered and identified as a pellet rifle “that looked dangerously like a real firearm.”

The pursuit eventually came to an end after the vehicle drove over a strip spike placed by the Visalia CHP…
