Fresno Police find gun with obliterated serial number

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Fresno Police officers arrested a person who is accused of driving under the influence and having a loaded handgun with an obliterated serial number during a traffic stop.

Police say officers made the stop near Belmont Avenue and Parkway Drive for multiple equipment violations.

Officers say they observed several signs of alcohol intoxication. Officers with the Fresno Motor Unit responded and conducted a DUI evaluation.
