FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Big Fresno Fair has officially announced its plans to bring entertainment to the grandstands now that there won’t be any horse racing this year.
This comes after a vote from the California Authority Of Racing Fairs earlier this year. The board voted not to submit any licenses for racing at fairs across the state, including Fresno.
The fair leadership team says this wasn’t what they wanted to do, as they wanted horse racing at the fair. But now that they’re out of options, they’re hoping two days of bull riding and bronc riding and another two days of monster trucks and Arenacross will still draw plenty of people in…
