Driver crashes into tree in Madera County

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 26-year-old driver from Coarsegold was taken to the hospital after he drove his car off-road, causing it to crash into a tree and flip over several times Thursday morning in Madera County, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP Oakhurst responded to Road 268 at Peterson Creek Road for a suspected DUI crash.

CHP said that the driver took his car off-road, slammed into a tree, and flipped it several times.

The driver was taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries…
