FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was arrested after a person was stabbed during a confrontation that escalated into a fight in a central Fresno parking lot on July 7, the Fresno Police Department said.
Around 5:15 am, officers say they responded to Saint Agnes Medical Center for a victim of a stabbing who was listed in critical condition.

Investigators say they learned the victim had been parked in the area of Gettysburg and First avenues when a man knocked on the window and woke him up.
According to police, the confrontation escalated into a fight, and the suspect, identified by police as Joshua White, pulled out an 8-inch knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.
