July 14, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report two separate shooting incidents occurred in Fresno and a suspect has been arrested.
On April 11, 2025, 9:15 p.m., officers from the Northeast Policing District responded to the area of Ashlan Avenue and Chestnut Avenue regarding shots fired. On arrival, officers located two victims and began providing life saving measures. Both victims were transported to CRMC and in stable condition. A third unknown shooting victim fled from the scene and was never located.
Officers on scene observed two apartments which were struck multiple times by gunfire. After officers conducted a protective sweep of both locations to ensure no one else was injured, they learned that one of the residents was hosting a party when two unknown suspects arrived and opened fire for an unknown reason…
