Plans for a new Costco store in Fresno, California, have been halted for the time being after a judge ruled against the project.
A new 219,000-square-foot Costco was planned for Herndon Avenue and Riverside Drive, but Judge Jonathan Skiles ruled in favor of an environmental group against the project. GVWire reported the project has been in for four years, and it was finally approved by the city council in April 2024.
