Plans for a new Costco store in Fresno, California, have been temporarily suspended after a judge ruled against the development.
A proposed 219,000-square-foot Costco was set to be built at Herndon Avenue and Riverside Drive, but Judge Jonathan Skiles sided with an environmental organization opposing the venture. According to GVWire, the development had been in the works for four years before receiving city council approval in April 2024.
