FOWLER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people are behind bars and another person is wanted following a Dollar General theft in Fowler, the city’s police department said on Monday.
Officers responded to a commercial burglary at Dollar General on July 15. They say they identified two suspects throughout the investigation, one of them being apprehended a few days later, and the second one was not “far behind.”
According to police, the suspects are “no strangers” to theft, and they are facing another felony under Prop 36. Pictures shared by the police department show at least two bags full of different packets of cigarettes.
Police add that there is yet a third suspect who needs to be identified. The individual was wearing dark clothing, a hood, and a mask partially covering their face, police said.
