FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Nearly a decade in the making, California High Speed Rail’s Tulare Street underpass in Fresno finally opened on Thursday, a vital road that will connect Chinatown to the heart of Downtown Fresno.
Tulare Street was closed way back in 2017 for a project that city leaders, businesses, and residents were told would take a year and a half to two years.
Almost eight years and several delays later, a ribbon-cutting kicked off a celebration, and a sigh of relief for the Chinatown community…
