Arrests made after large fight at Clovis wedding venue, police say

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Three people were arrested after a large gang-related fight involving 50 to 75 people in the parking lot of a wedding venue in Clovis late Sunday night, according to the Clovis Police Department.

Police say they responded to the Aroza Event Center at Peach and Shaw avenues around 10 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls about a physical disturbance involving a large group of people in the parking lot.

While officers were arriving at the scene, they witnessed multiple separate groups fighting in the parking lot. According to police, an officer used a taser to stop one of the fights.

Police say they arrested 23-year-old Elijah Jones, from Hanford, 29-year-old Marcus Paraham, from Armona, and a 17-year-old male juvenile from Fresno.
