Fresno man arrested in ‘largest meth seizure’ in South Dakota Highway Patrol history

STURGIS, S.D. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Fresno man has been arrested after what was described as the “largest meth seizure in Highway Patrol history” was discovered by officers in South Dakota, officials said.

According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Alonso Molinacorona from Fresno was found on Friday, Aug. 8, transporting 207 pounds of crystal methamphetamine in Sturgis, a city around 50 miles from Mount Rushmore, in South Dakota.
