Suspect DUI driver takes out power pole in Fresno, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — A man was arrested early Thursday for suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing into a power pole, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Around 2 a.m., the man was going east on Ashlan Avenue when he crashed into a power pole near Arthur Avenue, CHP said.

The car rolled over after hitting the pole and came to rest on the other side of the road.
