Kawasaki rider killed in Fresno hit and run crash, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 27-year-old Kawasaki motorcycle rider died in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 168 around midnight in central Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP says a Hyundai Elantra struck the Kawasaki from behind, ejecting the rider onto the roadway on Highway 168 near Shields Avenue.

After the rider was ejected, CHP says he was struck by other vehicles. The driver of the Elantra continued to drive without rendering aid to the motorcyclist or notifying law enforcement. The driver pulled over and fled the scene.

CHP says they searched the area with the assistance of the Fresno Police Department and were unable to find that driver…
