DOJ: Madera man had a gun and counterfeit mail keys

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 49-year-old man from Madera was found with a loaded pistol and counterfeit U.S. Postal Service keys, according to the federal Department of Justice.

Officials say 49-year-old Brian Hindman was arrested on Wednesday. Court records show that the arrest took place on July 25, as Hindman was entering a casino parking lot.

Grant says he was apprehended due to an outstanding warrant related to a burglary charge. Hindman was discovered in possession of a loaded 9 mm Ruger pistol, which he was prohibited from having due to multiple prior felony convictions that resulted in over four years of imprisonment…
