SANGER – Money doesn’t grow on trees, so the city of Sanger has looked internally to find opportunities in the city’s employee pay structure.
On Aug. 21, the Sanger City Council accepted a classification and compensation study presented by Mark Holcombe of Evergreen Solutions. Holcombe broke down how Sanger compares to similar cities and counties in regards to pay ranges, job descriptions and more. This is the first study of this type that has been done since before 2010, a fact that the city council was pleased to have remedied.
