Flooding closes Fresno County courthouse

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno County Superior Courthouse in Downtown Fresno will be closed all day Thursday due to flooding at the M Street location, according to court officials.

Staff at the Superior Court tell YourCentralValley.com that they were notified on Thursday morning about the flooding issue inside the facility at 2317 Tuolumne Street. The extent of the flooding was not released.

Due to the flooding, courtroom operations will be moved to the following locations:

  • Traffic Clerk’s Office has been relocated to the Main Courthouse, 4th Floor.
  • Dept. 97A has been relocated to Dept. 73 (Main Courthouse), Judge Luna presiding.
  • Dept. 97B has been relocated to Dept. 74 (Main Courthouse), Judge Guerra presiding
  • Dept. 97D has been relocated to Dept. 503 (Sisk Courthouse), Judge Whalen presiding.
  • Dept. 97E has been relocated to Dept. 403 (Sisk Courthouse), Judge Maria Diaz presiding.
