A 32-year-old Fresno man was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm on Interstate 5 southbound south of Templin Highway on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area Office.
An officer conducted an enforcement stop on the black Range Rover after the suspect was traveling at high rates of speed, according to an email statement from Officer Carlos Burgos-Lopez with the CHP.
