FRESNO, CA — “On Thursday, October 16, 2025, at approximately 8:10 pm, Northeast District officers were dispatched to a residence in the area of North Barton Avenue and East Quincy Avenue regarding a reported disturbance. The caller, later identified as 69-year-old Perry Michael Huffman, reported to the 911 dispatcher that he had been involved in a physical fight with another male inside the residence.
When officers arrived, Perry M. Huffman peacefully exited the residence and was detained.
After entering the home, officers located the decedent, 90-year-old Perry Leon Huffman, unresponsive on the ground. It appeared he suffered severe trauma to his body. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, he was pronounced deceased on scene…
