HANFORD – The Central Valley woke under a faint mist this morning, the kind that blurs headlights along Route 198 and hangs over open farmland before dawn. Air temperatures are mild and winds nearly calm, setting up a tranquil start to the first full week of November — but subtle changes are already forming on the horizon.

According to the National Weather Service in Hanford, warm and mostly sunny weather continues through Tuesday, with daytime highs climbing into the upper 70s. Clear skies and light winds will dominate early in the week, ideal for fieldwork, outdoor projects, and early holiday decorating. However, a weak Pacific system begins to shift inland by late Tuesday, bringing a slight chance of rain to Kings and Tulare Counties by Wednesday afternoon
