Kaweah Health updates visitor policy to allow overnight stays

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Kaweah Health has introduced a new visitor policy permitting overnight stays for visitors, aiming to enhance patient support during hospital stays.

“We understand that being in the hospital can be stressful for patients, and having their support system at their bedside helps them feel more comfortable and supported during their care,” said Marc Mertz, Kaweah Health Chief Strategy Officer.

Overnight visitors must be at least 18 years old and check in at the main entrance for a badge before 9 p.m., after which re-entry is not allowed…
