Atmospheric river brings rain, thunder to Fresno. How long will showers last?

The Fresno area will see rain, thunderstorms and potential flash floods as an atmospheric river-fueled storm rolls through Northern California, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm, which brought “gusty to high winds” to the Central Valley, could also result in heavy snow to the Sierra Nevada, the weather service said.
