73rd Annual Food Bazaar returns to Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The rain didn’t stop hungry folks from filling Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church in Downtown Fresno for the 73rd annual Food Bazaar.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 14, folks got their choice from an assortment of hot foods like chicken and beef kebabs, lahmajoun, rice pilaf, yalanchi, salads, cheese boureg, and more. The food was made courtesy of the church’s Lady’s Guild and volunteers who started work on this year’s bazaar months in advance. Those same volunteers also prepared an assortment of baked goods like gata, ghourabia, chorag, and more.

The food bazaar also showcased 14 local vendors, featuring local businesses like Magic Needle, My Sweet Cup, and Erebouni Sourdough, to name a few. All the money raised will be invested back into the church, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year…
