Madera Police are using their $115,000 grant to make city roads safer

MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Madera roads are getting safer thanks to a $115,000 grant.

The police department’s Traffic Enforcement Program received the grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety on Tuesday.

“We are grateful to receive this grant, which will strengthen our traffic enforcement efforts and improve road safety,” Sergeant Cederquist said. “Through a combination of education and enforcement efforts, our goal is to reduce dangerous driving behaviors, prevent crashes, and make our roads safer for everyone.”…
