An 8-year-old girl is recovering after she was grazed by a stray bullet that entered her family’s Del Rey apartment Sunday afternoon while she was playing in the living room.
The young girl told KTLA’s Carlos Saucedo that she was playing with a toy when she heard some type of blast that came through the neighboring wall.
Her mother, Marisela Jacinto, said that moments after that, she noticed her daughter was bleeding from the head. The girl’s parents rushed her to the hospital but were unaware that she had been struck by fragments of a bullet fired off next door…
