MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Operation Random Acts of Kindness is an annual tradition where Madera County deputies surprise drivers with some holiday cheer instead of a ticket.
It’s all thanks to AgriLand, which has funded this for the past 11 years. Madera County Sheriff Tyson Pogue says this gives the department the opportunity to connect with the community in a positive way. “Then just the typical everyday grind of going to, you know, calls on the poorest days of their lives,” Sheriff Pogue stated.
