Man hiding in Clovis home’s crawl space arrested for threatening person with gun, police say

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man hiding in a Clovis home’s crawl space was arrested Tuesday morning after being accused of threatening someone with a gun.

Police say it happened just before 10:30 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of W. Ashcroft Ave.

According to officers, the man, later identified as 21-year-old Jordan Casillas of Clovis, refused to come out, but after obtaining a search warrant, they say they found him hiding in the crawl space under the home – with a loaded handgun that he had modified as an automatic weapon.

Thankfully, no one was injured, and no shots were fired…
