FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno Unified School District is now hiring for 2026–27, with openings for teachers across all subjects and several leadership roles.
The district says they are especially looking to fill hard-to-fill teaching positions, including:
- Special education teachers (mild/moderate, moderate/severe, deaf and hard of hearing, visually impaired, orthopedic)
- Math and science teachers (all levels and fields)
- Arts integration teachers (dance, music, theater, media arts, visual arts)
- English teachers
- Career technical education teachers
Fresno Unified is also hiring for leadership roles, including:
- Principals
- Vice principals
- District leadership positions
