December 23, 2025 — As Christmas approaches, Candy Cane Lane in Clovis is glowing a little brighter, and a little busier, as families make the most of the final nights of one of the city’s most beloved holiday traditions.
Open nightly from December 1 through December 25, Candy Cane Lane welcomes visitors every evening from dusk until approximately 10 p.m. The festive stretch of neighborhood streets remains open for both walking and driving, allowing families to experience the lights in a way that best suits them. With increased foot traffic expected in the days leading up to Christmas, visitors are encouraged to drive slowly and remain aware of pedestrians enjoying the displays on foot.
What makes Candy Cane Lane special is also what sets it apart: it is not an organized event. The tradition is carried on entirely by homeowners who decorate their own houses simply to celebrate the season and share holiday cheer with the community. There is no admission fee, no ticketing, and no central organizer, just neighbors offering a gift to the city through lights, music, and creativity…
