December 28, 2025 – Clovis Police Department officials report that on Tuesday morning just before 10:30 A.M., Clovis Police Officers were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of W. Ashcroft Ave. for report of a disturbance inside. The caller told dispatch that someone had a handgun and was brandishing it. Once officers arrived, they ensured the adult male suspect was alone inside, and everyone else had exited. When the suspect refused to come out, officers entered with a search warrant and located him hiding in the crawl space under the home.
Thankfully, no one was injured and there were no gunshots fired during this incident. The suspect has been identified as 21-year-old Jordan Casillas of Clovis. He was located with a loaded handgun in his possession that he had modified as an automatic weapon. Casillas was booked into Fresno County Jail for multiple felonies including possession of a loaded machine gun with an extended magazine, and criminal threats.
