City of Clovis installs new water meters to boost conservation and detect leaks quicker

CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — The City of Clovis is rolling out new water meters designed to help neighbors conserve water and quickly identify potential leaks.

The modern meters feature a digital display and provide daily updates on water usage, unlike the old meters that collectively reported data every two months.

“It’s really about that time savings, getting that data up to date,” Rob Rush. The City of Clovis utilities manager said. “That can equate to conservation and make people more aware of their usage.”…
