City of Clovis seeking part-time Animal Services Officer to support community and animal care

December 31, 2025 — The City of Clovis is accepting applications for a part-time Animal Services Officer, a role that supports animal care, public safety and regulatory enforcement within the community.

The extra-help, part-time position is based in Clovis and falls under the Police Department’s Animal Services Division. The job pays $21 per hour and is intended to assist with daily animal control and shelter operations. Applications are open now and must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 9.

Under the supervision of the Animal Services Supervisor, the Animal Services Officer performs a wide range of duties tied to animal welfare and local regulations.
