It was another rainy day on Sunday, but that should be our last significant rain for a while. There’s drier weather ahead for us, and eventually: fog.
Day 2 of stormy weather brought more rain to the northern San Joaquin Valley than the southern, which was the opposite of what happened on Saturday. Merced picked up 3/10″ of rain and Madera saw 4/10″, while, further south, Fresno, Hanford, and Lemoore all received less than 1/10″. Visalia, Tulare, and Porterville all picked up between 1/10″ and 2/10″ of rain, while China Peak Mountain Resort saw over 1′ of snow fall… again. Conditions are great up there, and this will be a fantastic week to head up and take some turns.
